Keamy's rigged explosives

I think you guys were right when you said Keamy's device would be used to blow something up. I just didn't think it would be the ship!

me neither. why are the explosives on the ship? probably to destroy all trace and all evidence. this is part of plan B protocol. if they can't get ben, torch the island and then torch anyone who might know anything.

by the way, this is my opinion of what will happen next...

Well, if you buy into all the "moving the island" talk through a wormhole, then I bet Keamy will blow up the ship just before they all get sucked through time and space... so as to leave no evidence in the current time-space continuum of the ship or the island's former whereabouts. My bet is that neither Ben nor Widmore want any third/fourth/fifth parties to know about the island either.

I still don't quite understand the "torch the island" comment from last week...

My first thought when I saw that arm band was that it was an explosive detonator (well to be completely honest I thought it was like a jogger's ipod, but my first logical thought was the detonator). Then when I saw the explosives in the radio room it all seemed to come together.

Does it seem odd that they start to turn one 'bad' character just as a new one comes on the scene? Ben starts to quit all his psycho manipulation just as Keamy enters with his crazy antics and what would seem to be no moral gauge. They've done this before but each time I think the new character is crazier than ever and then they seem to top it.

Yeah, Keamy gives me the creeps even more than Ben ever did - which I wasn't sure was possible. But part of it I think is because he's just heartless. Ben at least seemed to have some reasoning and while caculated, they still gave him human aspects and emotions. Keamy is just unstoppable and feels the most dangerous so far. I mean, even the smoke monster just stopped and stared Eko in the face before flying back into the jungle. (yes, but then killed him later) I was really shocked when he just knocked Ben out last night - but I'm sure that taking Ben off the show at this point would be detrimental to the story line.
