Benjamin "Ben" Linus

Benjamin "Ben" Linus is the leader of the Others on the Island. Ben arrived on the Island as a child, brought by his father Roger to work for the DHARMA Initiative. Ben takes orders from Jacob, and is the only person who visits and speaks with him. Ben's apparent goal is to keep the Island and its special properties secret from the outside world, and he goes to great lengths to achieve this.

Default C appears AFTER ben looses smokie
anybody else think it very interesting that smoky being loosed results in C and C being revealed ot Locke as Jacob only after the hidden dream message from Horace?

I don't think there's a direct causal relation as to Smokie---> Christian
Christian made it clear that he's not the one (Jacob) but might as well speak for him.

I also am not convinced that Smokey is what is forming these "apparitions" or whatever Christian is.
