Nikki Fernandez

Nikki Fernandez was one of the middle section survivors from Flight 815 and is first introduced in "Further Instructions". She had spent most of her time on the island trying to recover the $8 million diamonds she and Paulo had stolen from Zukerman, her staged lover, before the crash. She received a Medusa spider bite that induced a deathlike paralysis and she died after being buried alive alongside Paulo.

I still cannot stand Michael. When whats his face tried to shoot him, I was rooting him on. Just die Michael! lol Maybe Walt holds the key to his fate.

There are just waaaay to many misfiring guns around Michael for it to be coincidence.

You are right I remember Captain Gault firing the gun to get everybody's attention. But as a extra detail I don't think we actually see Gault fire the gun, I don't think. um.. I'm watching it again.

The captain fires Keamy's gun to get his attention and says 'fixed your gun' then he fires it again as he is shot by Keamy. I would say Michael can't be killed yet. The same probably goes for Charles (since Ben said that they both know he can't kill him) and Locke (because the island keeps healing him and Ben says something about realizing now that it was pointless to try to kill Locke). So can Ben be killed? Why can't Charles be killed? I don't know why the island would protect him.

I thought so too but re-watching it Keamy shoots twice. The flash of Keamy's gun in the foreground makes you think Gault fired at him, but I am pretty sure he didn't.

Maybe that device creates a force field around Keamy. I watched it a bunch of times and can't really decide who fired the second shot. Maybe it came from the grassy knoll.
