Jin-Soo Kwon
Jin-Soo Kwon (Revised Romanization of Korean (RR): Gwon Jin-su, McCune-Reischauer (MR): Kwo(n Chin-su) is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. Jin was born into a poor upbringing with his fisherman father which he has always been ashamed of. After meeting and in order to marry Sun, the love of his life, he was forced into working into his father-in-law's mafia-type business in which he takes part in horrid tasks. This has made him almost scared of what he is capable of. Due to this, he was over-controlling of Sun in their late-marriage stage. Jin is the only survivor to not speak the native language within the group - English. This has caused a constant language barrier but after Sun revealed she spoke English to the group, this helped him overcome this struggle and has managed to pick up disconnected words and phrases.

There has to be some kind of timeline event thing between the island and the freighter. Maybe that's how they'll get the island moved before the second coming of the chopper.

i'm not sure if you are trying to say this, but there is another possibility, that they can put the island in another time before widmore knew where it was.

The dead body would not have been able to maintain the 3.05 bearing (or whatever it was). Perhaps that's why there was the weird feeling of backwards time: freighter doc's dead body is found before his throat is cut. Just a guess.
[Ooops, wrote my response before I read all of the other ones. Someone already posited this. Good to know I am in good company, anyway. ]

Here's what I want to know! WHERE"S SAYID??? If he left before the Doctor was killed and we've seen the Doctor wash up on shore... shouldn't Sayid be on the island?

Whatever bearing it followed must have caused it to arrive at a different time...days before in fact. This definitely goes to support my theory that the bearing is not as important to where you arrive as WHEN you arrive.

I agree with sombra1230.
But the whole situation makes me worry about Desmond rather. When Keamy gets to hear that one of the two guys is gone, I doubt he or his men will be nice towards the one left behind. Desmond might turn into some handy bate or bargain piece in the future.
