Dr. Jack Shephard
Dr. Jack Shephard is often seen as the main character of the series. He is a spinal surgeon and the de facto leader of the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. Jack has control issues and trouble dealing with situations that he cannot fix. However, this attitude of solving problems through reason has given him the ability to function well in crisis. Sometimes, if he feels guilt or pain over a situation he can't fix himself, he will do anything he can to fix it, even borderlining on obsessive. Jack is, most of the time, in control of his life, emotions and situation he is in and is able to keep a cool head in tense situations. Jack is also the half brother of Claire Littleton, although neither of them is aware of this. Jack has formed very strong bonds with Kate and Juliet while he has been on the Island.

The Cabin
So claire's just chillin' Jacob is nowhere to be seen, but Christian Shepard can answer all questions. I think I know what happened to Christian's Body, Jacob traded his for a new one. But what about claire? what the heck was that, she seemed totally complacent and not at all worried about Aaron. What do you guys think is going on?

I think you're right! I hadn't thought of that...
Claire looked almost like she was...dare i say it, drunk or high or something. Just very relaxed and not like herself. I thought it was eerie. maybe she's dead too. maybe after that hit on the head, she fell asleep at the campfire and never really woke up. she woke up in the dead world with christian.
and the special people are those that can inhabit both worlds...

I believe Claire is dead also. It was weird how there is a map to the cabin but no one knew where it was before. Also, I don't think Christian and Jacob are one in the same. Christian says he is not Jacob but can speak on his behalf. I think Jacob is like a spirit and not an actual physical person. He uses others as vessels to talk to the living.

i don't think claire is dead. but i do think that whatever christian has showed her convinces her to leave aaron.
so where does this leave the whole raised by another issue?
christian said aaron was exactly where he needed to be. so away from claire is where he needs to be. what does charlie's message of "your not suppose to raise him jack," really mean?
i'm so confused!!!!!!!!
and what about desmond's vision? what happened to that?! and charlie's ring dammit?!

Tommyknockers! Anyway, I thought I would be dissapointed about the time travel stuff, but now I have kind of grown to like it. It sounded like the time skipping, jumping, whatever idea would be really lame, but it's all in the way the writers presented it to the viewer that made it interesting somehow.
