Nikki Fernandez
Nikki Fernandez was one of the middle section survivors from Flight 815 and is first introduced in "Further Instructions". She had spent most of her time on the island trying to recover the $8 million diamonds she and Paulo had stolen from Zukerman, her staged lover, before the crash. She received a Medusa spider bite that induced a deathlike paralysis and she died after being buried alive alongside Paulo.

Hah, your right! now that I think about it it did look like one of those combo metronome/instrument tuner devices. But I don't think Keamy's going back to play everyone on the island a little ditty he made up last night.... and it goes a little something like this...

That's what I thought, too, about the tracking device. When Frank ran out of the jungle last week and told, Sawyer & Co. to hide - we saw that radar thing with the blips (I am very technical, I know)that Frank was holding showing the Keamy & Co. coming. So when I saw the thing that Frank dropped to Jack & Co. with the blip, I assumed (a dangerous thing when watching Lost!) it must have been the thing that sends the tracking signal.

You are right. It did seem that Keamy was intimidating the Captian by showing him the arm device.

But did the captain know what it was? When Keamy showed him the device, the captain shouted twice "what is that he has on his arm" and then goodbye Captain Gault.

That's a good point - the captian didn't seem familiar with it. Is it a secret device that goes hand in hand with plan B - the Red Folder/Mystery Logo Protocol? Here is a picture of what it could be
