Aaron or someone else? - Page 2

Meaning to raise the dead, my first thought was Jack was not supposed to try to raise Charlie, then I slipped into the raising of aaron theory, which seemed to make more sense.

Remember, the psychic did not want to talk to Claire the first time, he freaked out and told her to get out.. Then something happened and he
went ahead and did a reading. Then he called someone after she left and told them he did what they asked him. Who was he talking to?

I think he only said that so that she would not give up the child so that he would wind up on the island as planned.. By whom?
Heck.. I don't know.. What did the island want with that baby?
Maybe that's the whole reason the plane crashed and went off course, so the island could have the baby.. AAAAAAAAAAAAA this show drives me nutsss

I wouldn't trust what the psychic said to Claire. afterall, he was being paid, obviously, by someone else to get Claire to do something. He would have told her anything to get her to do it.

Agreed to an extent I think it would be more important to find out who was paying the psychic! That could be important.. Remeber in the airport when the daugher comes to Eko telling him about being between places and that she had a message from Yemi.. Libby was there to make sure things were ok.. I wonder if she was keeping tabs on the psychic and his daughter.. All speculation of course but we still don't really know why Libby was on flight 815 do we???

"He made me write it down so that I wouldn't mess it up" (indicating perhaps that if understood out of context and even slightly misquoted, could have devastating effects?)
"You aren't supposed to raise him Jack..." and "you think he means Aaron?" Almost like the directors want you to be able to look back and see them question it... as if Aaron isn't who the message was obviously referring to. He also says "Charlie also said someone's going to be visiting you too. Soon." probably referring either to Locke or Ben... setting up a great lookback of this theory is true (keep reading to see where I'm going with this )

Another scene that supports this theory:

"You can't bring him back Kate, DON'T YOU DARE BRING HIM BACK"

So here's the theory... What if HIM isn't Aaron. What if HIM is Locke... Totally changes the context of those warnings... Read them again with "him" being Locke? "You aren't supposed to raise him, Jack". The end of season for concludes with Ben suggesting they have to bring Locke back to the island, almost suggesting they could resurrect him... or 'raise' him from the dead.

"You can't bring him back Kate, DON'T YOU DARE BRING HIM BACK" - What if that was intended as a warning not to bring Locke back, seeing as how they all would need to return together, she would technically be a part of the group bringing him back, and we already heard that chaos broke out on the island when they left and Locke was left behind.

With my initial read of this, I got shivers! Great thought. These conversations all seemed to be indicating Aaron, yet it is Locke we see in the coffin. And there's the "we all have to go back, ALL of us"- implying Dead Locke has to go back, too. So I like your line of thought that Hurley and Claire were speaking of Locke and not Aaron. Interesting!

I too just read this and its good.. Clintdogg.. Way to stand back and look out of the box..

And Lost can be tricky that way!
