How did Kate see Sawyer?

The conversation between them was very confusing... She first lied about talking to him (which is understandable knowing kate). Then when she finally spills the beans she says she was talking to sawyer, then Jack said "He choose to stay" How could kate get in contact with Sawyer or see him?!?! Seems like a huge question or blank space

She never said she was talking to Sawyer on the phone. She told Jack to leave it alone and he kept asking. She then said she had to do something for Sawyer. And she would promise not to tell Jack. I'm thinking Sawyer asked her to do something right before Kate left the island.

I think that before she left the island she promised to do something for Sawyer.. Maybe she was talking to someone who was helping her accomplish whatever it was she was doing for him..

I was thinking she went to see Cassidy and Clementine but then wouldn't she be in violation of leaving the State if she is in CA and last we heard Cassidy was in New Mexico?

I was thinkng the same thing. That whatever it is she has to do for Sawyer involves Clementine.

So, here is my theory ---- The Losties get into a battle with the Freighter people.... a choice has to be made who gets on the helicopter to get away, and who stays. Kate ends up hurt somehow--- and Jack saves her and takes her on the helicopter. Before they get on, Sawyer sacrifices to stay behind (what does he have to live for off the island anyways??) and makes her promise to check on Clementine and let the baby mama know about the money he put in the bank for her.

Jack is obviously furious at Kate for doing anything for Sawyer because he saw them shagging in the bear cage.

I also think that Kate was going to see Cassidy for Sawyer. We know that she was pregnant with his child, and he probably asked Kate to go see his daughter for him. She was most likely speaking to Cassidy.

Remember when Lapidus flew the helicopter from teh island to the freighter he could only take himself, Desmond, Sayid, and Naomi's body because they were short on fuel. Unless there's a lot more fuel on the freighter, I don't think they're gonna be able to take 6 people plus a pilot back. I'm also concerned that all the crazy people on the boat would have ditched the extra fuel supplies.

Where is the Elizabeth? The last we saw it it was floating past the 4-toed statue and then Sun shot Colleen. Maybe they use that boat to get to the freighter?

Im sure they have enough fuel on the freighter if they are going to be taking Keamy and his team back and forth from the island.

I laso think that Kate went to see Clementine. It just makes sense considering Kate has met Sawyer's ex girlfriend. I think maybe somehow Sawter will find out she met her or if Kate goes to see her she will realize that they both have a common "friend".
