Did any of you guys think about the precise wording when Jack yells to Kate "You're not even related to him!" [meaning Aaron]. Does Jack know by this time that he is Aaron's uncle? Implying 'You're not related to him, but I am"? What do you think? Christian showing up today definitely gives that impression.

I wonder too, did Miles not go after Claire in the middle of the night because he could sense that "Christian" meant her no harm? Miles is a jerk, definitely, but he doesn't seem to want anyone hurt or killed unnecessarily. That's one thing that made me think that, for now, Claire is safe. Her death is going to be either the last episode this season, or unclear in the last episode this season and a cliffhanger for Season 5.

God I hope not. I mean the cliff hanger. If something happens to Claire I wanna know, not wonder about it all through the hiatus.

I kinda agree with you on Miles thinking Christian meant no harm. But then again, I'm not getting a threatening vibe from Miles really. Yeah, he's interested in helping Claire and yeah he's interested in helping Aaron. But Charlie was the same way in the beginning.

Not that I'm saying I want a Miles/Claire relationship but that because everybody is assuming that Miles is a bad guy I think it's possible we might be wrong.

I also from that scene got the feeling that Jack know's he is Aaron's Uncle.. It was almost like he was throwing it in Kate's face.. So not nice Jack!!

As for Miles.. I think it is just like Daniel said to Charolette her attitude is not helping.. He said to the losties they are scientist and there to help not to hurt them.. Well maybe not to help the losties but not there to hurt them either.. I am sure they just want to get to work for what they are there for which I would ASSUME is to figure out the properties of the island..

Yes, I believe Jack's comment is a clear indication that he is aware of his relationship to Aaron. That comment was inserted so that the viewers would understand that he knows. Now I wonder how he found out. It may be that Christian tells Claire that Jack is his son, then she tells Jack before she dies. Or due to the publicity about all of the passengers, Jack may find out after he gets back.

This knowledge that he is related to Aaron - I still do not see how that would make him initially refuse to live with Kate, or even visit the house. I think he must have gotten the message that "he should not raise Aaron" before Hurley told him. His reaction seemed to indicate that it was not the first time he had heard that.
