Til tonight i was pretty much going with the whole wormhole scientific route with recent discoveries in the episodes leading up to tonights thriller,but ofcourse that went out the window for me again after this episode.What is really going on dead people popping up again hurley going insane(freaky by the way) saying they choose to stay. once again my head hurts

I think the dead people aren't really the dead coming back, they are the Island representing themselves as dead people, but then again in the preview you see one of the others say he has been dead for 12 years...

Please use spoiler tags when referring to previews for coming episodes. Like said elsewhere, many LOST fans choose not to watch previews. I'm assuming it wouldn't be nice to bump into info you avoid. Thanks.

It's going to be hard for anyone to avoid the preview as ABC shows the preview for next week's episode about 100 times between now and next week, and not to mention the radio plays the preview. Many Lost fans don't hide in holes between now and next thursday, so I think its safe to say 99% saw the same preview i'm refering to. I didn't go searching for that information, it came on right after the episode.

I agree that the preview was at the end of the regular show, so no spoiler tag needed - anyone who watched the show would have seen it. And I may be wrong, but wasn't that guy they showed saying he was dead for 12 years, wasn't he the guy who recruited Ben's Dad to the island??? He and his wife were the one's who also helped Ben's dad when his wife went into labor near Portland, - when Ben was born...

As stated previously, quite a number of people choose not to. On that note, the 'would have' is rather a generalization of 'could have'.

The placing of the preview (before an episode etc) has nothing to do with 'having to see it'. Common courtesy is that each one respect another's preferences and make the effort to accommodate it in a community like this. It can't possibly hurt to use a spoiler tag for what it is, or type 'warning: spoilerish'.
