Jin-Soo Kwon

Jin-Soo Kwon (Revised Romanization of Korean (RR): Gwon Jin-su, McCune-Reischauer (MR): Kwo(n Chin-su) is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. Jin was born into a poor upbringing with his fisherman father which he has always been ashamed of. After meeting and in order to marry Sun, the love of his life, he was forced into working into his father-in-law's mafia-type business in which he takes part in horrid tasks. This has made him almost scared of what he is capable of. Due to this, he was over-controlling of Sun in their late-marriage stage. Jin is the only survivor to not speak the native language within the group - English. This has caused a constant language barrier but after Sun revealed she spoke English to the group, this helped him overcome this struggle and has managed to pick up disconnected words and phrases.

That was the BEST episode, in my opinion, since the season three finale.

the mystery is back. the chilling endings. the "WTF?!?!?" feeling you get at every commercial...

lost is BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, I thought it was one of the worst episodes. I thought the Shape of Things to Come was much better.

well said! i mos def was saying wtf every commercial! i just wasn't shocked to see Kate get out the shower! when he came down the stair i recognized the house.

I wasn't surprised about anything except that the red head knew Korean, and maybe seeing Christian holding Arron.Anticlimatic for me (bummer)

I have to say last weeks episode was much more climactic.

I just felt like this week was a "filler" as we build towards the season finale. I'm kinda tired of the "love triangle" stuff, and rather see the sci-fi "wormhole/time travel/teleportation/ dead people/ Jacob/ whatever" craziness that was evident in the episode post-break.

I'm with you pez, Gosh Kate (on the island) pick one . Please writers enough already with Kate's indecision Y'all know just before she leaves the island she's going to go to Sawyer and make a big deal about whether or not she should leave with Jack or stay with Sawyer on the island.

I think she was going to see Sawyer's daughter/Sawyer's baby's mama, or doing something involving that bank account letting "them" know that it exists.

i don't know why i believe his daughter's mother died. i was thinking that thats who she was on the phone with but i really believe she died! whoever she was talking to knows Jack because she said "gotta go, Jack is home" so i doubt it was the baby's mom.
