Widmore and the O6

Why did a man that worked for Charles Widmore kill Sayid's wife? Did he torture her to try and tell Bakir the location of the island? Did Widmore hope Sayid had revealed the location of the island to Nadia? Does that mean that everyone who got off the island (the O6) and their loved ones are in danger and is that why Sayid dicided to join Ben's War?

Sayid was very upset,but from previous knowledge of him i tend to think he is a lot smarter than to have Ben trick him so easy. Maybe he is the one that finally can out wit Ben? He might be trying to help the rest of the people on the island.

If you watch the scene where Sayid finds Ben spying on him, watch Ben's expression while they talk, like a mouse taking the bait...makes me think he is just manipulating Sayid- that's what he does.

Is it possible Ben had Nadia killed and just tricked Sayid into thinking it was Widmore? We still don't know much about Sayid's missions for Ben.

I really don't think Ben is that cold-blooded, as to kill off someone's loved one in order to coerce them into fighting for him. He will certainly take advantage of someone's past and disposition, but he's never shown that he's the cause of the behavior in the people he manipulates.

He's an Other! Of course he's cold-blooded!

Ben's plan was definitely to get Sayid to work for him, all of that 'just go and grieve and get on with your life' stuff was just bs. He gives a sly smile as he is walking away from Sayid as if to say 'goodie, my plan worked'. But I don't think he would have Nadia wacked.

Agreed. He saw Sayid on TV and thought to himself "well here's a lucky situation I can manipulate."

well i think ben is totally manipulating sayid´s life, he will never change, he only takes advantage of those who could help o defend him.... anyway i le his character he´s is so coool, emmerson must win a emmy xD

Yes he would. He killed Goodwin in order to make Juliet do whatever he wants.
