Sun-Hwa Kwon

Sun-Hwa Kwon (née Paik ?) (Revised Romanization of Korean (RR): Baek Seon-hwa, McCune-Reischauer (MR): Paek So(n'hwa) is one of the middle section survivors of the crash of Oceanic Flight 815. She was traveling on the plane with her husband, Jin-Soo Kwon. Their marriage has been very unstable, on and off the island, mainly due to Jin's controlling and violent nature and also because of Sun's many secrets that she will go to great lengths to protect even if it involves hurting others e.g. the maid in "The Glass Ballerina". She is currently pregnant with Jin's child, and according to Juliet the pregnancy will kill her in two months like every other pregnant woman who conceived on the island.

Did anyone notice that Miles was distressed when the monster came on the scene but before anyone saw it? He looked like he was weakening or something. I think he was hearing the thoughts of all those dead people whose faces we've seen and whispers we've heard in the smoke.

It definitely seemed like Ben called Smokey from the hidden tunnel. Ben goes back there and immediately the monster shows up? Too coincidental, but how can there be a control room for such a thing?

Yeah, he was wearing Hallowax's coat. I spotted that too! But also, when Ben stepped out of the tunnel and Smokey showed up, suddenly Ben's clothes and his face were really dirty. I think he went to Tunisia at that moment. Why he had to do it then, I don't know, but I think he time traveled then. And summoned Smokey right after he got back.

Personally, I felt that either going in there let Ben release good ol' smokey or that's the room from where he was able to jump to October 2005. But then when I examined the clothes he was wearing they were different from when he was in the house and when he was in the desert.

Any one else notice he was wearing Dr. Hallofax's dharma coat? Bunnies anyone?

I also think he time-traveled right then. He was pissed at Widmore, so he went to get Sayid squared away as his assassin (with the eventual goal of killing Penny) and to confront Widmore. He took care of all this while no time passed on the island, came back, summoned the monster and then went back into the room with the boys and Claire.

I do not think he time travelled at that point. How would he know about Nadia getting killed? He seen it on the news around the same time he got there. He did not know the date either. So it seems like he can travel but has no control to where or when he goes. That was the only reason why Sayid joined him. The door is probably the secret to the island.

I agree with you about Ben not travelling at that point.

I'm thinking it's one of the Cerberus Vents (noted as "CV" on the some of the stations on the blast door map). These Vents were supposed to act as an escape route from the monster.

I would surmise that Ben attracted the monster in some way and then led it towards the armed freighties. I don't think he has control of the monster because he does forewarn everybody to stay away from the freighties when they run into the tree line. If he had complete control of the monster, he would have simply commanded it to only attack the freighties.

Yeah, I'm looking at the blast door map right now: http://http://images.lostpedia.com/i...a_stations.jpg, so I'm wondering if what is noted as C4 is the Orchid Station. C3 seems to be the Tempest because of the descriptions around it (light industrial equipment, lots of dharmatel relays for communication of power supplies and possibly poisonous gas). The other stations' locations are already known (The Swan, Arrow, Staff, Flame and Pearl).

There is a CV right next to this C4 location. What's interesting is the note "x4 y8 z15 subterranean conduit?" Perhaps this is the conduit connecting the barracks to the Orchid station, which makes sense because it's relatively close to two sets of CV (good for civilian escape during a monster or Hostile attack).
