Well, my idea was that there wouldn't be extra Bens running around all over the place for long because at some point at least two of them end if in the same place at the same time -- a la the 2 bunnies in the Orchid Station -- and then kablammo no more Bens at all. Not even one. Maybe the explosion would then cut the island off from visibility/communication with the real world for ever after and the Losties that remain live happily ever after in New Otherton. I have no idea. :-p Just having fun with it.

I do think the buildup we got with the Orchid Station bunnies is gonna pay off later with the death of somebody important, however.

I agree - they must tie in the Orchid station sooner or later! Why show it to us if there wasn't going to be something major to come from it?
