 Rose Nadler
Rose Nadler (née Henderson) is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. She was on the plane with her husband Bernard, but was separated for 48 days following the crash. Rose is a well-meaning, caring woman who was supposedly healed from her fatal illness after arriving on the island, similar to Locke.

I don't think that's the reason he sent Karl and Danielle. I think he knows out of everybody there, those two would protect Alex with their lives. So if there was any danger, she would be safe with them. Danielle knows her way around the island so she should have been able to get them to the Temple with no problem even if they were in trouble.
I guess the reason why the Temple is only for the Others is because he trust them not to betray him. If Ben gets a chance to escape, he can get there and hide cause nobody on the outside other then himself knows where it is. By telling the 'Losties', he would jeopardise his safety net.

If that is the case do you think that the tunnels in the Pearl (where Eko Was killed) could lead to the temple or at least maybe a back way in?
