Since the Tempest turned out to be a poison gas factory, I have a feeling the Temple could turn out to be the real power source for the island. What do you guys think?

I have the feeling that the "temple" is going to be the NORAD of the island. It is going to be the REAL operations location. Ooh! To keep the Star Trek NG going... could the Temple be like the Battle Bridge, only seen when there was a saucer separation? lol!

I think the temple is the place where everything that happens on the island is controlled from. It could be some sort of city, hidden away, thats why not many people know about it. However I think that there will be new characters in this city, that like desmond was in the hatch, have been locked in ( ie once in you cant get out) that is why they shoot anyone that comes near. They had no idea that she is ben's daughter until she say's she is. Once in she will be able to tell them whats happened or something like that AAAAARRRRRHHHHH my head hurts, going to be a long wait.....

What if the Temple and the Orchid Station turn out to be the same place?

The Foot Statue! Yes, I want to know about the foot statue! Definitely a great moment in season two was that weird freaking 4 toed foot. Thanks for the reminder about that "madness shared by two" Has this topic been covered? I need to look back and read some commentary from past seasons, being new to the board and all, huh? That and maybe develop a signature or avatar too...

No one has ever commented on my user name's meaning. I've been a regular here for a year now and I have never seen a thread on it. There might be an old thread lurking around somewhere, but you can start a thread on it if you want to.

I think it might be a good possibility, who knows? I just got to thinking that it seems a sure bet that we are going to see the Temple at some point. (hopefully this season) And with all the excitement after they Orchid video came out.... I thought well maybe they are the same place. Especially since Ben's map had a Dharma Station symbol to mark the Temple. Before I saw that I always thought of the Temple as something ancient like the foot statue or the column that Cooper was tied to in the Other's little tent city.

My rule of thumb is GOOGLE EVERYTHING that I don't know about, or at least, that I don't know about and might care to know about and/or remember to google.... maybe I will start a thread, again something, being a relative newbie on this board, that I've yet to do... my only hesitation on that front is that the foot statue is kind of old news, it being one or two seasons ago...
