Its alright, you're forgiven. But I swear that I saw a pic. of Walt we're used to seeing (the younger one) as Miles is going up the stairs in "confirmed dead." The picture is on Mile's right and Walt is wearing red.... check it out!

Miles goes to see the Grandmother just as the news is coming out of Oceanic 815's wreckage recovery. This is just about the same time that Michael is trying to kill himself. So I don't think there is any way for it to be Walt as the murdered grandson. Unless we're dealing with different timelines. I didn't want to bring this up again, but that could be a way to explain all this.

He "lost" Walt's trust and respect. Walt was very connected to the island and the people there. He would be crushed to know his father killed and betrayed his own people.

Michael is trying to kill himself around christmastime- Miles goes and sees a lady in California (which i still think is the same lady) and there is zero signs that it is Christmas or winter. Also on the radio as Miles pulls up to the house, it is a comfirmation that Oceanic 815 found at the bottom of the ocean was in fact the plane and had no survivors. The person on the radio wasn't saying "this just in..." or anything new- it was def. old news. So it goes along with the timeline

That's got me baffle too I had thought it was the same woman that Miles at when to and the pictures on the walls were of Walt and maybe Micheal when he was younger. And maybe Miles visit was during the time Walt and Micheal were on the island. And after Miles tells her everything is okay now she moves to New York. Micheal find her there and take Walt to her and they can't say anything about where or what has happen to them in fear of Ben.
So when Micheal was passing Miles going on to the freighter Miles picks up vibes from Micheal and knows he's not who he says he is etc as what was shown on the show.
Ben knows that Walt is in New York remember him telling Micheal over the call from the mainland on the freighter.

There is no way that the lady Miles went to was Walt's grandma... unless for some strange reason Walt was hording an extremely large amount of money and was somehow dead in the past and his grandmother changed bodies and locations.

Maybe the grandma brought a winning lottery ticket with the money that Miles gave her back. And that's how she got from California to New York. Sheesh if it was me I surely wouldn't of moved to New York I've lived in California the weather is much better than New York I'm sure, maybe the smog is just the same.
I'm just having some fun with this one don't get harsh with me okay.
