 Claire Littleton
Claire Littleton is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. She is Jack Shephard's half-sister, although neither of them knows this. She is the mother of Aaron Littleton who was born on the Island soon after the crash, and has done her best to raise Aaron. During her time on the Island, she entered a relationship with fellow survivor, Charlie Pace.

Where's Walt then?
If Michael is on the boat then where is Walt? Is he actually on the Island with the Others?

Not sure where Walt is, but since we now know that Michael is on the freighter I think it is a sure bet that Walt is not on the freighter. So my guess would be that he is still on the island.
We have already seen what Michael is capable of doing for his son. So it is no surprise to me that he would be Ben's saboteur on the freighter.

Wonder about this? Wonder if the bearing that Ben gave to Michael and Walt to leave on (325 - which is different than the freighter bearing) actually sent Michael and Walt back in time to where Ben could recapture Walt and make Michael work for him - getting him in on the freighter and all - also actually making it so that Michael was NOT on flight 815 and therefore not on the 815 manifest that the freighter crew memorized. That way the crew wouldn't know that Michael knew, and was working for, Ben. And Ben, essentially, still has Walt captured and is still using him. That's why he could appear to Locke in the bone pit. He is still somewhere on the island.

Bea Klugh did ask Michael if Walt ever appears somewhere he wasn't supposed to be...

I agree that Walt might as well be on the island still- the rest you wrote makes me think my brain must be oxygen-deprived. I tried to speculate on this "Where's Walt?" question earlier on the thread Which islanders (might) need a constant?
but I'm not sure how much of it makes sense now, in the light of this episode.
