anyhoo, she was reading a book upside down and then she put chains around her neck and jumped off the boat, committing suicide.

what do we make of this. i don't think she was having flashback problems. i think she was affected by the "sickness" that danielle was talking about.

I think I already posted that somewhere else. (I'm wearin' my smartypants right now! LOL!)

The Captian did say some of the crew was suffering from don't remember the word he used but "Intense Cabin Fever" To Sayid and Desmond..

I was kinda bummed out tonight with regina's death scene.
Regina is played by Zoë Bell who is more well known for being a stunt woman.
She only recently broke into acting with a role in Grindhouse.
anyways I thought that they were using Zoë Bell for the role of Regina because there would be some cool stunt scene she would do. But all she did was jump off the boat?

Don't get me wrong it was a very cool scene dramatically, but I don't think it was much of a stunt.

In the promo for this episode I thought that it was a woman jumping off the boat while clutching a baby to her chest. I was a little relieved to see it wasn't that (because I assumed it would have to be Claire and Aaron) but think that whole scene was completely bazaar. She looked to be in a trance or something and I wondered if they are being controlled and not experiencing any type of sickness. She walked up there very easily and jumped while no one seemed to care. Doesn't it seem like everyone on the boat is a little too laid back about everything? From the way they dress to the way they handle Desmond and Sayid to the fairly relaxed reaction when they find the blood in the cabin. These freighter people just don't seem fazed by anything.

I thought I saw something else...
When Sayid and Desmond are being taken onto the deck, it seemed as though one of the fire axes was buried in a wall. This could speak volumes as to the status of the ships crew. Did anyone else see that? A couple minutes later there was a shot of a fire axe hung nicely in its brackets. Was I just seeing things, after all I was on treadmill

you do the treadmill while watching lost? wow. i cannot have any distractions while it is on. i have a no talking policy in my house while it is on. last night my seven month old was babbling while it was on and i shh'd her!

hey Pchee, I have a seven month old as well, and she babbles non stop! Luckily she's fast asleep during Lost..

Anyone else realize that blood splat on the wall of Sayid and Des new room looked a lot like Radzinki's bloodspot, another gunshot suicide I guess. I always thought Danielle's story of everyone on her research vessle getting sick was sketchy, but the events on the freighter are adding some legitamacy to her story. Maybe being near the event, or the entrance to the island has some sort of affect on people, but what kind of affect, and why not everyone?
