Desmond David Hume

Desmond David Hume was the lone resident of the Swan at the time of the Flight 815 crash. He was discovered by Locke, Kate and Jack a month later after they had blown open Hatch. After his failed attempts to leave the Island, Desmond joined the camp of survivors. Following the destruction of the Swan, Desmond gained a mysterious ability to see flashes of the future, with which he predicted Charlie's imminent death.

Did anyone make out the dates on Jin's tombstone?

Default Jin's Death
The date of his death on the tombstone indicated 9-22-04. Meaning he died the day the plane crashed into the island.

weird.
I was thinking the date on the tombstone would help figure something out.
but if it the date of the crash.....
Still confused.
I mean Hurley and Sun would know that wasn't true.
????

There were two different birthdates because one said 1980 and another said 1974.

Jin was in a flashback
Sun was in a flashforward

she called out to him because she was on drugs; hallucinating

Jin is not one of the Oceanic 6...we are to believe he didn't make it off the island

Who was that person who past in the hall that stop for a second and then when Sun looked his way he hightail it out of there pretty quick?

I think it was just supposed to be Sun thought it looked like Jin because she was delusional from being in labor.

I don't think it was anyone important.

So if Jin dies on the island, they are claiming that he actually died in the crash to maintain their story that only 8 people survived the initial impact? Anyone wonder if he isn't dead at all he just couldn't be one of the 6 to leave and they have to keep up pretenses that he's dead so no one is suspicious? Sun seemed pretty sad at the grave but so would I if my husband was stuck on an island and I couldn't ever see him again. I think he's dead and am annoyed that we have to anticipate it happening but really anything could be possible.
