What happened to Jin??? - Page 2

i had read something about the timelines in this episode being a little more experimental.

i'm confident that sun was in a flashforward while jin was in a flashback.

the date on the tombstone was the date of the crash. so the world is supposed to believe he died in the crash but obviously he doesn't make it off the island.

I assumed that is was
Jin= FlashBACK
Sun= FlashFORWARD

My head is just spinning . . . but my first thoughts were:
a. He died on the way to the hospital and then sort of appeared as a ghost, in the same way that Charlie did for Hurley.
b. it's some sort of time travel craziness, he's time-travelling from an earlier time to a time when he's now dead, so that's why he can't appear to Sun and freak her out

Okay, I've gotta say the flash forward/flash back theory makes a lot more sense than my junky scenarios.

But what was he even saying when he delivered the panda to Sun in the hospital? What was all that stuff about a gift for the ambassador/from the ambassador? When Sun is in labor, she's desperate to see Jin, so he's not dead or she doesn't know she's dead at that point.

Anyway, thanks for letting me ramble. I look forward to checking out more analysis later . . .

That wasn't Sun it was someone Mr Piak does business with I think..

There were clues the whole time that made it pretty obvious that Jin was in a flash back. It was like the time they made us think that Jack and Kate knew each other before the plane crash. They were introducing the flashforward, tonight they reacquaint us with the flashback.

AND if it's a flashback with Jin, then why does it appear that he's rushing to see his wife have the baby? Did he actually say that his wife was having a baby? AND didn't he tie a blue ribbon on the panda, even though it was a girl? Is there a different color coding in Korea? Or did the person say the baby was a boy? I'm just so confused!

THE EPISODE WHERE BEN FIRST REVEALS HE HAS A SPY ON THE BOAT, ME AND MY BOYFRIEND BET EACHOTHER $100 ABOUT WHO THE SPY WAS. I SAID IT WAS MICHAEL...... I WON!!!!!!!!!!! I FREAKIN KNEW IT!!!!! AWWWW YEA I WON $100!!!!!! (then again he's only been watchin' Lost for 2 seasons at the most, i've been a die-hard fan since the very first episode--I even turn my Cell off and unplug the home phone line 'til it's over, not that it matters, but helllllls yeeaaa!!)......... CONCERNING TONIGHT'S EPI:: It was confusing at first, but it was a combination of flash-back and flash-forward. of course, when sun had the boy, it was flash back, when she and hurley visited jin's tombstone it was flash-back. DUH

past is a good thought, it could be true.... hmmmmm... guess we will have to wit to find out 4sure.... all i know is that i won $100 bucks bettin my bf who was the spy on the boat....

When Jin bought the panda bear (the second time) the toy store owner tried to get him to buy a dragon since it was the year of the dragon. That makes it either 2000 (to January of 2001) or the year 2012.

I guess I'm just going to be a smarty pants tonight but didn't everyone know it was Michael on the boat? Some other ideas were floated out there, I may have even volunteered a few ideas, but that was just to try and make the show more complicated. They are good at the major twists but all this day to day stuff is becoming far too predictable. After tonight's show I just felt like, "how are they going to drag out the obvious for an hour program?" I almost hope for twists now, like maybe Jin isn't dead, or maybe Kevin really isn't Michael at all just some random guy Ben hired and then performed major surgery on to resemble Michael. Yeah, sure.

Where is the mystery?
