On the other hand, I do like your train of thought. I've been looking through old episodes to see if the name "Kevin Johnson" was mentioned in a flashback or something.

I am guessing that we will see how he is acting like the good guy during the next episode - as a Phoenix rising from the ashes of betrayal. Just my opinion of course, but I think Michael/Kevin will be acting based on redemption to make up for slaying two Losties and then betraying a bushel more. We will see if this comes to fruition of course. I could be way off. Perhaps Harold P. is literally acting like the basketball player Kevin Johnson. Now that would be a highly unrecommended twist. Please don't do this to me Darlton!!! Or perhaps the name Kevin Johnson has no meaning at all. Like I said, I may be stretching things a bit to give the name meaning.

I think the name "Kevin Johnson" is supposed to just sound really plain and common. Michael would want to blend in and have nothing outstanding or noticeable about him. Also, knowing the the freighter people have methods of getting info (they know about Kate's crimes as confirmed by Miles), Michael would want a name that they couldn't really research. Do you know how many Kevin Johnson's there must be in the world? They would have a much harder time getting anything on him.

Hmm...I wonder if Michael has health insurance or retirement...
