Either way - it is definite that he had access to the chemicals. He was in the thick of it enough to be burnt by some, even! And why did he seem to be sneaking into where Juliet was for some gauze for his burn? If he had a job-related accident I would think that it would be okay to get some treatment.

I just saw that someone is going to be back for at least one episode of the last 5 of season 4

Did Goodwin say that Ethan was not at work - is that why he brought lunch to Juliet? Does that mean the Ethan worked with the toxic gas too? Because we know that Ethan was seen in scrubs and took care of Claire, and was a recruiter for Mittelos Bioscience with Richard.

(Goodwin pokes his head in the doorway.)

GOODWIN: Hey, Juliet. Oh, Ben, I didn't know you were here. Ethan's out sick.

(Goodwin rustles a paper lunch bag.)

GOODWIN: I have an extra egg salad on rye. I was just checking to see if Juliet wants it.

JULIET: Thanks. No, I already ate. Oh, besides, I have an appointment with your wife in ten minutes.

(Juliet looks at Ben.)

GOODWIN: Great. Tell her I said hi.

JULIET: Oh, will do.

GOODWIN: Ben?

BEN: No, I'm fine.

(The door creaks and shuts. Ben goes back to looking in the microscope.)

Right, I already read that too. It doesn't answer the question of Did Ethan work with the toxic gas as well? All that told me was that Ethan was out sick. Why did Goodwin make lunch for Ethan whether he worked in the gas plant or not?

Well hmmm... If Ethan was out sick it does kinda sound like they worked together... We know Ethan was a "jack of all trades" so I would guess he worked there too at least some of the time.. Remember durning the bookclub Ethan was working on Juliette's Plumbing? (I think)... Guess we really don't know its up to spectualation..

Hey - something interesting? Daniel said he was trying to "render it inert." Not prevent Ben from using it, or shutting it down, or anything like that. Could that be a clue to what kind of gas it is?
