I'm not even going to get into that last little exchange . . .

However, I agree with Wednighter? that Juliette looks more "fragile" when she first arrives on the island. I noticed that she doesn't have the unnerving calm stare that she has in "present" time, when she's been chained to the island for a long time. Have you all noticed that? If someone asks her a difficult question, she just gives the calm unnerving stare that reveals nothing of her emotions. A recent example would be when the helicopter pilot realizes she's not a survivor of Flight 815 and confronts her with it. She doesn't answer, just gives her classic stare.

Anyway, my point is that when she first arrives on the island she looks very girlie and wide-eyed and expressive, totally unlike the later jaded Juliette.

I did notice that. I put it down to dealing with Ben all this time and keeping things from him.

Where did Juliet take her self defense class? Because she put up a good fight against Charlotte.

How does Charlotte the anthropologist know how to kick butt? I'd like to see more of her backstory.

I would like to know where they learn their self defense.. Remember when she is bringing Kate her sandwich and Kate was going to knock her out and Jules leaves Kate flat on her back..

Oddly, the best fights have been the ladies' fights...oh, and Sayid's. Don't read anything into it...just my observation. The Lost team just seems to make their skills very real. I always thought the Jack/Ethan, and the other fights seems...only cool due to the camera work.

Ethan was pretty brutal with his fight moves too Though my favorite would be 'the break-dance thingie" Sayyid did to the neck of one of the Others on the beach. His hands were tied and mouth covered but it looked like he was just popping some acne

what do you guys think? she was wearing a LOT of makeup in the first scene. i guess it threw me off, because i'm used to seeing her with no makeup.
NO MAKEUP!!!??

What's with all the hairspray this season? She had straight hair before, didn't she? When are the people on this island going to start looking like they actually live on a desert island, rather than in a salon?
