Claire Littleton is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. She is Jack Shephard's half-sister, although neither of them knows this. She is the mother of Aaron Littleton who was born on the Island soon after the crash, and has done her best to raise Aaron. During her time on the Island, she entered a relationship with fellow survivor, Charlie Pace.

Some spoilers i picked up on DarkUFO. Please don't read if you don't want to know, but I got them off the sneak peeks so you may have seen them already:
Spoiler for The Other Woman:
Charlotte and Daniel decide to leave the beach and go to The Tempest which is an electric station that powers the island. They meet up with Kate in the woods who is returning to the beach. They lie to her about where they are going and she asks to look in Daniel's bag. Charlotte knocks her out from behind but not before Kate sees that Daniel's bag contains gas masks. Some time in the night, Juliette has a run-in in the woods with "an old friend". She lets Juliette know where "your friends are headed", she tells jack when he joins the scene. She then disappears. Jack wants to know from Juliette what's going on and she asks him to just help her. Then we see Juliette confronting Daniel and Charlotte (who are in hasmat suits) at the station and telling them to stop what they are doing. Charlotte says the only way you can stop us is if you shoot us. The alarm is sounding and the computer screen in front of Daniel says "CONTAINMENT BREACH IMMINENT. EVACUATE NON-ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL. MASTER CAUTION AND WARNING! VALVE NOT RESPONDING. MASTER CAUTION AND..."
Why dosent Sayied go to work on Charlotte and Daniel with a blow torch and a pair of plyers?

02/26 - [Juliet's] upcoming flashback [episode] is entirely located on the Island. And yet it guest stars Alan Dale as Charles Widmore. She's going on a little field trip to the Orchid Station. As in the station unveiled this summer at Comic-Con, with the "highly volatile and potentially dangerous" research-and them creepy numbered bunnies. 02/23 - Juliet receives an unwelcome visit from someone from her past and is given orders to track down Charlotte and Faraday in order to stop them from completing their mission -- by any means necessary.
