Rating for "The Constant" - Page 3

So shoot me, but I gave it a 2. I really did not like the back and forth time travel.

I'd shoot you but my current situation doesn't allow this.

Best of the season! Five stars!!!!!

Oh, and for the record, it was only forth time travel, as 1996 desmond consciousness traveled into 2004 desmond body. 2004 desmond consciousness (except what he was immediately experiencing as 1996 des consciousness in 2004) never set foot in 1996 desmond body. BTW 2004 Desmond's consciousness did travel back (and not forth) in the hit episode Flashes Before Your Eyes. What rating did we give this one? I give it a 5 too!!!

And I gave Mr Woodcock a 1/10. Anybody who disagrees with that rating does deserve to be secound guessed by somebody they enjoy spending time with.

My point being, that this was a good episode. But the hype after it hurt it significantly. Yes all you people who said "best LOST episode ever" just made this episode grab a candle stick and run to the ball room only to be hit with a candle stick by Colonel Mustard.

It wasn't the best episode ever. It was a pretty good episode though. The fact people are saying its the best is making it less enjoyable. Because now everybody expects too much out of this poor little episode.

Could be onr of the best!!

That only works if you hadn't seen the episode yet and then are effected by the hype. For example, when Pulp Fiction came out everyone was crapping their pants about how great it was and how amazing Quentin Tarantino was. Every day someone was peeing themselves and peeing on others to talk about how great this movie was. Well, a few months after it was released and after getting brow beat about how awesome it was I finally saw it. It was alright. It would have been better if Quentin Tarantino could have kept his mouth shut.

Anyway...my point is that most people would have already seen the episode and therefore wouldn't be effected by the hype. I don't know of anyone who read the message boards for a week about how great it was and then finally saw the episode a week later.

Just my opinion. I do agree about your Mr. Woodcock opinion. Oh, and I love Clue.

Yes this is true. Pre-Hype is what mostly hurts things. Although Post-Hype can hurt an episode too. Lets say you watch an episode. Love it. Its not your favorite though. Its voted the best LOST episode ever. Then all of sudden you dislike it. Because everyone things its better then it really is. That means its over rated. And that makes your like it less.

I like this episode less then when I first saw it. Its still a very good episode. I just think its over rated.
