A possibly lesser-known segue on Kurt Vonnegut: His son,Mark Vonnegut, wrote, an auto-biographical work called "The Eden Express", which depicts, rather intensely, his descent into schizophrenic episodes, which ultimately land him in a mental institution, though he is eventually released. This book came into my life very mysteriously one day and it was so good I stayed up all night and read it in one sitting. I tried to read "Slaughterhouse V" in high school, but couldn't get into it. I prefer Ray Bradbury to Kurt Vonnegut.

Maybe I'll try to to read "Slaughterhouse" again over the three-week break.
