Dr. Juliet Burke
Dr. Juliet Burke (née Carlson) is a member of the Others. She seems unhappy with her allegiance (particularly, it seems, with Ben's position of authority), and lives at the Barracks. Juliet is a calm, intelligent woman with a background in medicine, but unhappy with her private life and will do anything to get off the Island. However, it seems Juliet has betrayed her people and joined the survivors in wanting off the island.

Aaron's Room
Check out this screen cap from Aaron's room.
Do you find anything interesting in it? For sure I noticed the playing card in the monkey picture. It might be a seven of spades (Daniel's were queen of diamonds, six of clubs, three of spades - but Daniel guessed the ten of hearts) What else can you find that would be a link to past episodes? (The original picture of Aaron's room is from DarkUFO's site.)

What do you think the writing on top of the painting reads, queenbeesteph?
I remember saying to myself with this scene on "there must be tons of connections here now PAY ATTENTION" and ... didn't notice anything till this post

I am wondering if it is Portuguese. I need to have my friend who grew up in both Brazil and on Madiera see if it is. (she understands both Brazilian and European Portuguese.) Or is it Russian?
I am really interesting in the playing card, though - is it code? We have Daniel and Charlotte with a deck of Swan Station Cards, on the ARG game Find815 we have a deck of cards as a clue on the Christiane I which seem to have a Swan Station Logo (and is showing us a queen of diamonds) and now we have a card in Aaron's room.

In musical terminology, tempo (Italian for "time", from Latin Tempus) is the speed or pace of a given piece
Andante — at a walking pace (76 - 108 bpm)
Largo — Very slow (40 - 60 bpm), like lento
Marcato — marching tempo
Misterioso - slightly slower than marcato
Presto — very fast (168 - 200 bpm)
Maybe it is a reference to the pace of the show
With only so many episodes left, things are going to start moving quickly??

OK, the writing on top of the painting looks to me a fun list of major tempo's in which a classical piece can be played.
|
Great eyes, Flaneuse! I could not read those at all.

Excellent observation, Folie! I bet it is just like pchee noted--> a play on different times.

i also see a lot of black vs white: the piano keys a classic image of black and white; that is supposed to be a major theme of lost (the rocks found in the cave, locke's backgammon game)
|
Ooh! Pchee,YOU have good eyes, too! The black and white of the piano keys, the playing card the musical words... yes, black and white, yin/yang, light and dark are definitely themes of the show.
