Claire Gets On A Helicopter...Then Dies.

I think (If Desmond was telling the truth) Claire will die on the freighter or the helicopter. She will get on a helicopter but not leave make it home. I think Jack may be there when it happens.

ah, this is where the bearing rift comes in! like how pot pies and bee were saying in the other thread, if they don't follow the exact bearing then something happens...oh! oh! oh! i know:

they will find out about this disasterous rift that exists. and they have to follow the bearing exactly or else they die or end up in another time or something. so for some reason or other, claire and aaron split into two different choppers or two different trips with the chopper, and one makes it while the other...does not.

I worry that Desmond's vision is going to be technically correct - Claire will get off the island if Charlie dies, but for how long will she be off the island?

that's what i am thinking. the bearing is off when she has to make her trip. and disaster will follow!

I wonder if Desmond told the truth to Charlie at all. He did at the last minute decide that he should be the one to swim down and flip the switch (until Charlie knocked him out). Maybe he felt guilty about skewing his vision again. We didn't see the vision like we usually do.

Even if he was telling the truth, there is no telling how much has happened that would change Claire's fate in the mean time.

How come you used a spoiler shield here when it's just your theory? We are not expected to use spoiler shields if it's just our own idea and not an idea taken from somewhere else (like a website of spoilers, etc.), right? Just wondering about the etiquette.

I might have read that (I've been on the island too long and am losing my memory, I can't remember if a friend and I were talking about it first, I think we were and then maybe I read it, see, I'm just not positive...) and am just being extra careful because we have hypersensitivity to spoilers lately - all it seem anyone wants to do anymore is argue or jack a post, not contribute to any theory, so I am just covering my bases.

i think it's ok not to shield theories as long as you don't use info that you got from a spoiler.

I think Queen Bee shielding theories is terribly clever. Man I wish I thought of that first.

Also I think there is a huge chance Desmond lied. I think he may of saw Penny instead.
