He will not kill anyone. As Ben told him, he is looking for someone to tell him what to do next. Locke needs answers from both Ben and Miles. Miles knows who Ben really is and why they are after him. Ben knows more about the island than anyone else. So those two will be staying put for now.

It probably isn't a live grenade because he wouldn't want to risk blowing Miles head off. He knows he can get answers from Miles easier than getting them from Ben, and any answer Ben would give is a coin toss to whether or not it is true so... seems Miles is too valuable to Locke, can't risk having him sneeze or something.

um...didn't he throw a knife into Naomi? was the knife set on 'stun' or something? just because she didn't die right away doesn't mean his intention wasn't to kill her. unless she wakes up on the helicopter and says, 'i would have died if i had a kidney' and we find out Locke's daddy totally pulled one over on her too. now that would be awesome.

I was reading through this thread just waiting for someone to bring up Locke scratching Namoi's back with a buck knife.
And did everyone forget Locke pushing Mikhail into the sonic fence thingy??
I know, I know it didn't kill Mikhail but we all thought he was dead and so did Locke.
It is amazing the short memories people have when defending the characters they like.

Its cool though I like Locke myself, but just cause he couldn't bring himself to kill his own dad (well with his own hands, he is actually responsible for his death he just used Sawyer as the weapon) doesn't mean Locke isn't capable or willing to kill.

pineapple grenades ceased being used 50 years ago. they've been round ever since.

I'm not calling down fire from heaven on the show for this, I'm just making a note about how I find it humorous that it is used in hollywood still today.

A reason in this instance? it's easier to bite the pineapple grenade than a baseball grenade.

BTW, most islands are in the middle of the sea.
As the world is a waterworld with landmasses dotted everywhere there is no true "middle". it's all relative.
