Maybe the storm affects Desmond's powers. It causes a psychotic breakdown and he is able to see a point where he might die but cannot tell. Desmond side effects may be that he somehow jumps back and forth from the present to the past and/or future. Thats why he yells at Faraday but Faraday can't remember. Either he is in the past so does not know Desmond yet or in the future but Faraday does not remember. Apparently he suffers from some amnesia since he can only remember two of the three cards.

i thought i saw the last scene of the 'next week on lost' was of a short haired desmond yelling at faraday. it looked like they were in a classroom or something because i thought i saw a chalkboard or something. maybe i'm mjust hallucinating.

No you're not hallucinating that is a chalkboard and it's covered with equations. I guess we can't really tell if it's on the freighter or not. I myself think it is in a flash forward, but I am also very interested in Da camel's idea. Desmond would freak for sure if he landed on the boat to see everybody that should be on the island still haven't left the boat!

Love the signature Beef Jello! PAVEMENT is one of my favorites. I saw them play live three times.

Thanks darnzy...i saw pavement several times in san fran, ca. it was sometime between and during the wowee zowee and brighten the corners era. it was pretty obvious that the band hated each other at that point (or malkmus hated everyone that was not him) - especially during the later shows. oh, well...they were fun while they lasted.

i think you're right about it being a FF unless they have a Supercuts on the Freighter for desmonds new hair do. But you never know...freighters are pretty big. There might be a barber shop, best buy, sunglass hut, etc. on that thing.

Yes, you wear headphones in real life to talk to each other, as its loud as hell inside them.

My guess is that it is going to be a Desmondcentric episode so that short haired business with Faraday might not be on the freighter...

In "Flashes Before your Eyes," Des asked his physicist buddy about the whole time travel situation, I'm thinking Desmond has some after-rescue interaction with Faraday/other physicists to try to get back to the island.
