I have a theory I posted, if you are interested. It's split in two parts. First search for "My Aaron/Claire/Kate/Jack Theory" in the "Eggtown" commentary section. The questions you ask below I addressed in a post titled "Kate's Baby as a Clue to Island Timeline," which I think is also in the "Eggtown" episode section. Or something like that. I think I posted them both 2 days ago.

Kate is safe.

Is it really safe to assume that Aaron is Claire's Aaron? What if they both died and Kate named the baby Aaron? Just a thought.

personally, i think it is safe to assume it is Claire's Aaron in the FF. if it weren't then the twist at the end of the episode would go from being awesome to a complete turd, no? if in a future episode we learn that the baby is actually kate's and that she just dedicated the new baby to claire's aaron, for whatever reason, then i will stop watching the show.

Really? I'd think it'd be even more beautiful, their relationship I mean. Obviously they are really close. Plus, it'd be Sawyer's boy, which is a plus imo.

Spoiler for My other thoughts on the spoiler.. Don't want to give anything away for those of you who don't look..:

I know! When I first saw it, I thought it was a fake just because certain parts of it look photoshopped. But, I don't know... I don't see how.

claire is definately gonna die but i don't think it will be a stray bullet. i think it will be in the helicopter. maybe (and this just popped into my head) jack tries to save her from the helicopter crash and only saves aaron.

Here's my question: Where is Thomas, Aaron's bio-dad? If the O6 have the most recognizable faces in the world, and there is an official Oceanic Air Flight Manifest to confirm all the passengers died on the plane in the Sunda Trench, why wouldn't Aaron just be given back to his father, or at least his father's family? Or even Claire's next of kin - her Aunt Lindsey?
