What's up with Sayid's gray hair?

When Sayid killed the Italian guy he seems to have a lot of gray hair. Then when he is with the girl, Elisa I think is her name, he has shinny black (no gray at all) hair (blow dried by the way). I wonder if he colored his gray hair or he's just an older Sayid when he kills the Italian?

i noticed too, and in a different thread i posted a pic of sayid on the golf course, drawing attention to the greys...

it's either because he is in a different light (sunlight) or because the curly style vs the straight style...i'm not sure if we should be looking that deeply into it.

Well at first I thought we were obsesively over-analyzing everything but now I'm sure they put those details for a reason. And it is obvious that Sayid got his hair straight when he's dating that girl so probably they added color too? Maybe it was the hair salon special, free color with the permanent hair straightning?

He seems to have about the same amout of gray hair in both scenes to me.
The difference is that when he is with Elsa his beard has been trimmed a little.
I don't really see that much gray on the sides, some but not much.

i saw a lot more greys on jack in eggtown, as well. maybe its a conspiracy of the greys.

Well maybe you're right! Somebody (QueenBeeSteph maybe??) guessed that the scene on the golf course takes place AFTER the scene where Sayid kills Elsa.
