Desmond David Hume
Desmond David Hume was the lone resident of the Swan at the time of the Flight 815 crash. He was discovered by Locke, Kate and Jack a month later after they had blown open Hatch. After his failed attempts to leave the Island, Desmond joined the camp of survivors. Following the destruction of the Swan, Desmond gained a mysterious ability to see flashes of the future, with which he predicted Charlie's imminent death.

I agree with you 100%
No reason I can find to consider that the scenes were shown out of order. Honestly, I am not sure what difference it would make in this instance. Although I wouldn't put it past the producers/writers to mess with us just for fun.

If you are exasperated then why not quit posting in this thread and leave it for us who do want to speculate about out of order scenes. That way you won't be exasperated and clogging this thread, and we will be happy because we can keep theorizing.

I used the word "apparently" because at the beginning of the scene it seems like a chance encounter between strangers. BUT after Sayid calls him by name and shoots him we then KNOW that it wasn't a chance encounter at all and Sayid was there intentially to kill him. The thing is that until we get to the end of the episode we don't KNOW why he killed him. Then at the end of the episode we find out that Sayid is working as an asassian for Ben.
I still don't see any reason for the golf scene and the scenes with Elsa to be out of order. Not saying they aren't (although Carlton seems to be saying this) I just don't see enough evidence for any serious discussion about it.

I couldn't agree more with you. I think it is great to speculate and good speculation can lead to uncovering some cool things in the LOsT universe.
I just like theories to be grounded with alot of supporting facts. A lot of times people's theories and speculations are based on other theories and speculations when they should be based on what we know to be true.
well anyways...... thats my two cents.........

Please, do you not understand that you were the one who typed *exasperated sigh*. You are the one getting upset and frustrated. I was just trying to help you not to be exasperated. There was no malice in my post, just trying to help you out. If you can't understand that, I am sorry.

Sorry... you and this thread are definately not worth arguing over. We obviously have different ideas about what going on in the show- about what the big picture is on Lost. I'll be the adult and just say everything you say is absolutely right and be done with it. Then you won't have to make any more rude remarks like "exasperating sighs* or silly remarks like "you are just upset because I am right." I find this all funny, but there is no flaming on the site, so I concede all the points to you. Let's be friends.
