 Claire Littleton
Claire Littleton is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. She is Jack Shephard's half-sister, although neither of them knows this. She is the mother of Aaron Littleton who was born on the Island soon after the crash, and has done her best to raise Aaron. During her time on the Island, she entered a relationship with fellow survivor, Charlie Pace.

technology clue that Jacob is Elsa's employer?
One thing I noticed in "The Economist" was that when Sayid asks Elsa why her boss makes her use an old-fashioned beeper, she says something like "He doesn't much like new technology." When Ben takes Locke to the cabin he lights a lantern instead of a flashlight or whatever and says something like "Just like you, Locke, he's not a big fan of technology." I think it's significant. What do you guys think?

Yup, that's my guess.
"And that would be a bit cheesy for a mystery Jacob to go off island and his worker to tell him "I told you to page me at 10!". Lol Jacob takes not crap like that. And he doesn't leave the island.

Elsa doesn't page her employer. Remember, it only worked the other way around. She said (and we know she was a liar but that doesn't mean she lied about everything) that her employer her once or twice a year when he is in Berlin.
We don't know whether or not Jacob can leave the island. But we do feel pretty certain he can change his shape to fit whatever works for the psychology of the person he is trying to manipulate, is getting off the island every now and again really so unbelievable?
In any event, I think the technology comment that Elsa throws out there is not meaningless. We are meant to make a connection.
