Default Picture Frame Changed by Miles?

I was looking back through the screencaps of the scene with Miles and Mrs. Gardner. When he goes upstairs, they focus on the pictures on the wall. The picture of the boy is in a large wooden frame. Then Miles goes upstairs, does his thing, and comes back down. They focus again on the same picture, but this time it is in a metal frame. It is the same picture just a different frame.

Is this a continuity error or is it something Miles somehow changed? I really doubt they would make such a blatant continuity error in a scene they put so much focus on, though, so what are your theories on this?

Yep! Those are the pics. After he comes down from the room, Miles looks back at the stairwell and then gives Mrs. Gardner some of the money back saying it wasn't as hard as he thought it was going to be.

When he is in the room, he also seems to look carefully at everything before he starts and then, again, when he finishes. I'm wondering if he is used to subtle changes like that occurring.

That would be a very cool idea, if Miles' actions can cause mild changes around him. Just think what might happen to him on the island with all of those spirits.

The pictures around that one are different too, and I think even the wood is different.
Very well done!
