The picture of Eko as a kid who is selling drugs is a perfect example of how things can play out differently in alternate timelines, yet, the overall fate of major events can't be altered. When you go back in time, you can only “change” things that don’t have an impact on your destiny. In other words, if you went to go see a movie on a specific date, and then went back in time, you wouldn’t necessarily go see the movie the second time around. However, if that movie caused you to make a life-altering decision, fate would find a way to have you still make that decision, just without the original influence from you going to see the movie the first time around. Being a drug dealer is a part of who Eko is and shaped his destiny. So in any timeline "the universe will find a way of course correcting" and Eko will be what Eko must be - a drug dealer.

I can't believe that it was Eko who was living with his grandma, got murdered and now haunts the room. Eko is/was a grown man. The 'grandson' in question must have been young, much younger than Eko. Maybe Eko's son but not Eko.

Yeah! I can see it being Yemi. And now after seeing that picture I think its safe to rule ou that its Ecko. But I can't remember, was Yemi murdered? And if his body was found on that plane, how would the grandmother know he was murdered? Unless I have something wrong here.(and please feel free to tell me if I do!)

Who lived in the bedroom, with the posters of football players and girls? Who won the baseball trophy? Eko? Yemi? No way. The young black man that lived in the bedroom, sold drugs, got murdered, became a ghost.... was not Eko or Yemi.

True. And we also have to remember that Yemi was angery at Eko for being involved with drugs.

i don't think he actually IS yemi...i just think he looks eerily like him. that seems to be the case with a lot of characters on this show...

They pick them like that on purpose so we get all confused. Is part of the drama.

I vote most definately not Eko. Hair lines different, facial structure is different- mouth, eye brows- everything is different if compaired side to side.
