*Claire's baby has powers!*

Hey,
Okay so the first time we knew that Claire's baby was special was when Charlie died. The baby didn't stop crying...

but in this episode, just for 2 seconds, we see the baby trying to communicate with us!!!

Go to minute 34 and watch...as soon as the woman who jumped off the plane says, "What's wrong with you guys? We're here to save you!",
the baby starts crying and Ben quickly looks at it. Claire then consoles the baby.
I believe it happened earlier in the episode as well, but I couldn't find it the second time.
I thought this was especially significant because Ben actually acknowledged it.
Any thoughts? Am I just being too analytical?

Hahaha, that would be so cool, I did think it was strange, but then, I mean, I think everyone has powers...

We know Aaron is "special", it will be interesting to see how his "specialness" manifests itself... the crying this is pretty cool.

I think you're right on target. He cried the moment charlie died and I think once he's old enough to talk, he'll rewrite many of einstein's theories.

He will do the roll of Will Smith in I Am Legend also. And he will take Beowulfs roll of being Beowulf. And he will be sparta...forever.

I think the children who ended up on the island definitely have something different about them. It was the same with Walt. He had that weird thing with birds and his stepfather seemed to want him gone because he was afraid. Aaron made that psychic act strangely before he was even born. I think he must have some special knowledge that we are just starting to see.

Actually, Walt was special before coming to the island and I am guessing that the island enhanced his specialness. We also knew that Aaron was special as well - as told to us by the 'fake' psychic in Australia that sets Claire up to get on Oceanic in the first place.

Some bad stuff goes down if Claire doesn't raise this baby and I'm guessing it's because of his 'specialness' aka 'superpowers.' These superpowers need a positive influence on his life or he'll turn to a life of crime.

I kinda forgot about that stuff until you pointed out Aaron's crying at all the right times though. I wonder where they were going (or will go) with that storyline. Do you think they even remember that they brought it up? I hope so.
