 Shannon Rutherford
Shannon Rutherford was a middle section survivor of Oceanic Flight 815 and was Boone's stepsister, who she frequently argued with. She was very selfish at times, though she eventually formed a romantic relationship with Sayid. Shannon survived on the Island for 48 days before she was unintentionally shot and killed by Ana-Lucia Cortez.

I had a huge conversation with someone during season two about how a plane crash could be easily duplicated. The people trying to cover this up, dharma, hanso, the maxwell group, or widmore, have more than enough money to make this happen.

The way the dialogue in the episode started, you are meant to think that they had just discovered the plane right then and there. That scene was just for us right? It's not like the underwater search for the plane was on TV and they just happened to find it.
Now that i think a little bit more, the people that found the plane probably didn't have anything to do with putting it there. Still, the dialogue sounded like they were just crusing around looking for other stuff and they were suprised to find the plane. I mean, if your piloting some remote undwater camera craft, looking for plane wreckage, would you be surprised when you found a wrecked plane? |
