Jin-Soo Kwon

Jin-Soo Kwon (Revised Romanization of Korean (RR): Gwon Jin-su, McCune-Reischauer (MR): Kwo(n Chin-su) is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. Jin was born into a poor upbringing with his fisherman father which he has always been ashamed of. After meeting and in order to marry Sun, the love of his life, he was forced into working into his father-in-law's mafia-type business in which he takes part in horrid tasks. This has made him almost scared of what he is capable of. Due to this, he was over-controlling of Sun in their late-marriage stage. Jin is the only survivor to not speak the native language within the group - English. This has caused a constant language barrier but after Sun revealed she spoke English to the group, this helped him overcome this struggle and has managed to pick up disconnected words and phrases.

Default Ben's Strategy

First, my favorite moment in the whole episode is when Ben asks Jack if he can please go with John. That was so funny. I think Ben is quite happy to be the beaten prisoner right now. With these other freighter people coming to the island, he doesn't want to appear in charge of anything. I think he figures he is safer that way. (Like Lt Dan telling Forrest not to salute him cuz it would get him killed by the enemy.) He's been awful quite, seems if he wanted to be let go he would be running his mouth more trying to manipulate his way free.

That was my favourite moment too... Especially when Jack said "He's all yours"!! I squealed at this bit because I'm a huge Bocke fan!
I thought Ben had some fantastic parts in this epsiode, it was awesome to see him smirking, and it's great how he still has more knowlege than all the survivors, even though he's captured.

I agree. Plus he's not sure who the people on the freighter are (except he sees anyone that comes to the island as a threat).

ps - I like the F Troop analogy.

Ben is like a cockroach, he knows how to survive. He may or may not benefit the people around him in his actions. One thing you can be certain of, he will act in his own best interest above all. He truly believes the people coming from the "freighter" are going to wipe out the life found there. That is why he wanted Rousseau to take away his daughter.
She is the only thing he cares about outside of himself.

It was an old comedy tv show from 1965 to 1967. Set to an old western fort was name Fort Courage. Had Ken Berry from Mayberry RFD, Forrest Tucker and Larry Scorch. I was only like about 7 went it was on tv I thought it was funny as hell.
