Michael Dawson
Michael Dawson is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. He had parental issues with his son, Walt, but the two have bonded with their time on the island. Michael shot dead Ana-Lucia and Libby in order to release Ben from captivity; and ultimately caused the capture of Jack, Sawyer and Kate, when he made a deal with the Others. His whereabouts are currently unknown after he left the Island with his son Walt on a motor boat.

The island gives you the chance to be what you never were before. Hurley will be big this season I.M.H.O.

I couldn't agree more Dragonlady! We know Ben took Locke to the cabin as a test to see if John was special - and John turned out to be special by being able to see and hear Jacob. This caused Ben to shoot Locke (weird how now Ben wanted to go with Locke - they must have hugged it out!) We now know that Hurley is "special" too since he has also seen and heard Jacob. What will Ben do to Hurley? Interesting that the 3 "special" guys are all together in the non-rescue group. Hurley has more to him than we have been shown as of yet - I think his story is going to be important this season since he went with Locke but got off the island somehow? and apologized to Jack for not have gone with Jack - something big happened.

What's this about Hurley tricking Sawyer at a barbeque? When did this happen?

I think Hurley represents the "caring heart" of the island.

Oh yeah. He told Claire her baby was less wrinkly than before. I didn't think that Sawyer put on a whole barbeque for them. I musta missed that. Did he kill a boar for everyone? (Hope it wasn't possessed by the soul of Frank Duckett or his father--Doh!)
