Paulo

Paulo was one of the middle section survivors of Flight 815. Before the crash, he and Nikki Fernandez murdered Howard L. Zukerman and stole his diamonds. They spent most of their time on the island searching for these diamonds to the exclusion of almost everything else. A bite from a Medusa spider induced a death-like paralysis in Paulo. He subsequently died as a result of being buried alive while paralized.

When they are on the beach right before he does the canonball in the ocean Hurely tells Benard that he won the lottery and that everyone will think he is dead and he will be free from the curse or just free whathave you..

Then in the FF He gets locked in the instuition again.. Not Free

Another glimps "Through the Looking Glass" ???????

he was talking about the money. he said now it will be all gone because they think i'm dead. he was talking about the money and the curse that went with it. ironic tho.

I to think he was talking about the curse/money.. I just thought over-all it was very ironic when we were also talking about how Jack and Kate both seemed quite the opposite of the way we know them in the finalle.. In this we can see Jack is on the road to the flashback from the finale.. Vodka in the OJ when watching the Hurley chase on TV.. Thats all =P

yes, i saw that too. vodka and orange, breakfast of champions.

ironic too that he is now abusing alcohol like his father. when that was such an issue of contention (sp?) between them

So, it would seem Jack has become the very thing he used to hate about his father. Similarly...... Sawyer became the very man he hated.... the con man that brought destruction to his family.
