Maybe that other dude saw that first guy that came to Visit Hurley at the Mental hospital. It wouldn't surprise me if he followed him and was constantly watching him. But then, he saw Charlie. Maybe they want us to think other people saw Charlie.

About the slapping thing: Dave threw a rock at Hurley, as a proof he was really there, but he wasn't, right?

Yeah, I remembered that too. Dave also slapped Hurley across the face JUST LIKE Charlie in the last episode. To be fair, though, we don't know for sure that Dave isn't real. I mean he's Jacob, right? So maybe Hurley really did feel the slap on his face, rather than just think he felt it.

Yes and I think when Charlie wears a hood that's a clue that he's being Bad Charlie. That's one reason why I think the Charlie that visits Hurley is up to no good. Remember Dave tried to get Hurley to jump off a cliff, remember? This Charlie will not be good for Hurley. No way.

And the inmate at the asylum who pointed Charlie out to Hurley didn't actually look where he was pointing. He had his head down and sort of turned away like he was afraid to look. Perhaps he was also there because he was "seeing things."

To be more constructive. Charlie knows what hes talking about. The Oceanic 6 are keeping a secret. They need to go back and rescue everyone else. Hence "They Need You"

He only wore a hood when he was swimming. That was to hide his face. So you couldn't really tell who it was at first. Then you know it must be him having vision of Charlie. At first I thought Jack was coming to break him out of prison!

you thought jack was in the police two way mirror window. It had already showed that it was a two way mirror with a camera shot from the other side.

then it cut back to hurley and he started to hallucinate that someone was swimming.

Did anyone else find it curious that the guy who pointed out Charlie to Hurley never really showed us his face. I kept trying to get a good look at it, for some reason I thought it was Charlie's brother Liam (but that is solely me!) I just thought it interesting that he never made eye contact with Hurley (and there are plenty of regular reasons for that -considering where the man is) nor showed us his face. I just wonder if it is going to end up being someone in the future and we will go "ahhh... the guy who also saw Charlie..."

I thought it could be the guy who gave Hurley the numbers. Though hard to say for sure.
