daveoz, here's what I said earlier:
I'm saying that there's likely to be some less drastic ways Ben & a select group of his people know in order to travel from & to island...without always having to manipulate the space-time continuum (like use of the vault), that is. Like making use of correct bearings..
But with the turn of the frozen donkey wheel, bearings to reach to and leave the island must have changed as well I think (if we're assuming that the wheel moves the island in space-time) So it can't be that 300-something (315? 325?)..
At the same time, though I'm not sure about some other vault, or 'time chamber' like you put it
, it is intriguing to speculate on that as a possible answer to Richard and Tom's travels.
I 'm not quite sure what you asked about in your post but hope this clarifies a little. what do you think?
