I see both sides of the spectrum, the one where Valentines day brings loved ones together, and the other where it becomes mandatory to buy someone something. I saw a Valentines commercial where a man says everything wrong on his date, but when he pulls out a diamond ring (not proposing) he is all the sudden the greatest man! Morals from the commercial, buy your date something if you act like a jerk.
