Another Time...
Did anyone else catch Hurley's comments after the radio gets repaired and he and Sayid are on the beach listening to an old song? Hurley mentions something about the song coming from "another time" then quickly adds that he is just kidding.
Could it be possible that by being brought to the island it somehow brought them back in time? It may be a long shot but it sounds possible:
1- Ana-Lucia mentions that the Army knife they find on the others is from 1979
2- All the vinyl records in the hatch are pretty old and Hurley mentions he has never heard of any of the musicians before.
3- The slave ship is pretty old, I still haven't figure this one out yet but how did it get there?
4- This one is really a long shot: Locke's legs now work. If they went back in time before whatever accident caused his legs not to work, then they should logically work again.
5- Locke mentioned that the island gave them all the chance to start over or make a new life. What better way to start over than go back in time?
6- I still haven't figured out how the Nigerian drug plane fits in here because if they went back in time it shouldn't be there yet. However when Locke got close to it his legs stopped working again (maybe a disruption in the space time continuum? sorry little joke there from Back to the Future)
7- The film projector in the hatch is pretty old. I mean who uses film projectors anymore or vinyl records for that matter?
8- I've read on several spoiler sites that the writters have mentioned not to assume that Lost takes place in present time or 2004-2005.
Of course this could all be explained by the fact that the island was setup by Dharma in the 1970's and therefore everying on the island is just old. What does everyone else think?
