I was just thinking about a parallel between Ben and Locke...the lack of a mother figure. Bens mother dies, Johns basically deserts him. As the events are seeming to transpire, Aaron will also be motherless (at least biologically speaking)...could this be a prerequisite of sorts to being a leading island man. Is the island their true "mother"? Does this mean Aaron will likely continue on the Ben/Locke legacy? Just random thoughts here...
