I've posted this elsewhere, but I think the mirror thing in this episode (only seeing Jacks appendectomy scar in it, and needing one for the operation) hints at 'Through the Looking Glass' and the whole multiple reality thing again. Oz and Wonderland are at heart essentially the same things - differing versions of our own realities.
