Christian took Aaron to get Claire to come with him. That is why Sawyer found Aaron by himself. Also, it is surprising how Charlie only appears to Hurley. He had an impact on everybody on the island. Why does he only talk to Hurley and not Claire? I think Charlie did appear to Claire after her house in the barracks was blown up. He probably protected her from the blast.
