As stated previously, quite a number of people
choose not to. On that note, the 'would have' is rather a generalization of 'could have'.

The placing of the preview (before an episode etc) has nothing to do with 'having to see it'. Common courtesy is that each one respect another's preferences and make the effort to accommodate it in a community like this. It
can't possibly hurt to use a spoiler tag for what it is, or type 'warning: spoilerish'.
